चुनाव आयोग ने कहा, ”गाजीपुर, चंदौली, डुमरियागंज और झांसी में ईवीएम को लेकर जो आरोप लगाए गए वो सही नहीं हैं| जिन ईवीएम का मतदान में इस्तेमाल हुआ है वो पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हैं| ”

गाजीपुर प्रशासन ने भी महागठबंधन के उम्मीदवार अफजाल अंसारी के दावों को खारिज किया है| गाजीपुर प्रशासन ने ट्वीट कर कहा, ”ईवीएम को लेकर आशंकाएं निराधार हैं| ईवीएम 24×7 सीआईएसएफ की सुरक्षा में है| उम्मीदवारों को स्ट्रॉन्ग रूम की निगरानी के लिए अपने एजेंटों को रखने की अनुमति दी गई है|” इस ट्वीट को चुनाव आयोग ने रिट्वीट किया है|
