 नई दिल्ली। पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में बिम्सटेक के राष्ट्राध्यक्षों समेत 8 देशों के नेताओं को आमंत्रित किया गया है। बिम्सटेक में भारत समेत दक्षिण एशिया और दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया के वे 7 देश शामिल हैं, जो बंगाल की खाड़ी से जुड़े हुए हैं। इन देशों में भारत के अलावा बांग्लादेश, म्यांमार, श्रीलंका, थाईलैंड, नेपाल और भूटान शामिल हैं।

इनके अलावा भारत ने किर्गिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति और मॉरीशस के प्रधानमंत्री को भी शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में शामिल होने का न्योता दिया गया है। बिम्सटेक देशों के नेताओं को आमंत्रण के संबंध में पूछे जाने पर विदेश मंत्रालय के

प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि पड़ोसी प्रथम की नीति के तहत यह न्योता दिया गया है। हालांकि इस बार पाकिस्तान को दूर रखने का फैसला लिया गया है। माना जा रहा है कि पुलवामा में सीआरपीएफ कैंप पर हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद से दोनों देशों के बीच तनाव के चलते मोदी सरकार ने पाक से दूरी बनाने का फैसला लिया है।
पीएम मोदी दूसरे कार्यकाल के लिए 30 मई को शाम 7 बजे शपथ लेने वाले हैं। इस दौरान उनके साथ कई मंत्रियों को भी शपथ दिलाई जाएगी।
