आगामी 28 मई को विश्व मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता दिवस पर होंगे जागरूकता के विविध कार्यक्रम

कवर्धा, विश्व मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता दिवस के रूप में प्रत्येक वर्ष 28 मई को मनाया जाता है। दुनिया भर में महिलाआें और बालिकाओं को उनके मासिक धर्म के कारण होने वाली चुनौतियों, मासिक धर्म से जुड़ी भ्रांतियों एवं वर्जनाओं को तोड़ने तथा इन चुनौतियों के निराकरण और समाजिक जागरूकता के लिए कबीरधाम जिले में 27 से 29 मई तक जिला स्तर पर विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। जिला पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन

अधिकारी श्री कुंदन कुमार ने जिला कार्यालय में आयोजित साप्ताहिक समय-सीमा की बैठक में 28 मई को विश्व मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता दिवस के रूप में मनाने तथा समाज में इसके प्रति जागरूकता लाने के लिए शिक्षा विभाग, महिला एंव बाल विकास विभाग, स्वास्थ्य विभाग और आदिम जाति विभाग के अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए है। उन्होने बताया कि राज्य शासन के निर्देश पर 27 मई से 29 मई तक जागरूकता के लिए विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। उल्लेखनीय है कि विश्व मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता दिवस पर जागरूकता लाने के लिए राज्य शासन के पंचायत एवं ग्रामीण विकास विभाग की सचिव श्रीमती रीता शाडिल्य ने कलेक्टर और जिला पंचायत सीईओ को पत्र जारी किया है।

पंचायत एवं ग्रामीण विकास विभाग द्वारा जारी निर्देशां के आधार पर बताया कि मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता दिवस विभिन्न विभागों तथा पंचायत ग्रामीण विकास विभाग, ग्रामीण अजीविका मिशन एवं स्वच्छ भारत मिशन, महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग, स्कूल शिक्षा, आदिम जाति कल्याण विभाग के मध्य समन्वय से किय जाएगा। यह दिवस मूलतः 28 मई को मनाया जाएगा, परन्तु जिला एवं ग्राम स्तर पर 27 से 29 मई के मध्य विभिन्न गतिविधियां, कार्यक्रम आयेजित किए जा सकेंगे। मुख्य कार्यक्रम 28 मई को

आयेजित किए जाएंगे। जागरूकता संबंधित आयोजनों के लिए संबंधित विभाग के अधिकारियां को दिशा-निर्देश भी जारी किया गया है। 28 मई को जिला मुख्यालय स्तर पर संबंधित विभागों और स्टेक होल्डरों के मध्य मासिक धर्म स्वास्थ्य, स्वच्छता एवं प्रबंधन पर गोलमेज बैठक आयोजित किया जाएगा। मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता विषय पर ग्राम स्वास्थ्य एवं पोषण दिवस पर विशेष सत्र वीएचएनडी सत्र 27 से 31 मई के मध्य मनाया जाएगा। इस सत्र में मासिक धर्म, स्वच्छता एवं मासिक प्रबंधन पर चर्चा किया जाएगा।
